Bus Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Injured in Tulum

A motorcyclist was injured, and his passenger suffered minor scrapes after a bus driver recklessly cut them off on Federal Highway 307. The incident occurred at approximately 11 pm, near kilometer 222, in front of the Triunfadores neighborhood.

Emergency services received a 911 call reporting the accident and requesting medical assistance and the presence of the National Guard. Civil Protection personnel arrived promptly at the scene, providing first aid to the motorcyclist who had sustained bruises and scrapes. However, his injuries were not severe enough to necessitate hospitalization.

Eyewitnesses reported that a white Mercedes Benz bus, bearing the license plate A-21616-X, was heading north towards Tulum. The bus attempted to move onto the shoulder of the road, colliding with the green Italika 150c motorcycle, with the license plate 02ULH1, which was traveling in the same direction.
