Cancún is set to become the heart of national dance from November 23 to 30, with the National Dance Meeting 2024: K'inal. This event aims to bring together artists, choreographers, and experts to exchange experiences and knowledge, and to bolster cultural networks within the region. The meeting will take place at three iconic locations: the Xbalamqué Cultural Center, the Arts Cultural Center, and the City Theater, where a variety of workshops, performances, and discussions will be held.
- Training workshops: These sessions, designed for dancers, are scheduled for November 23, 25, 26, 27, and 28.
- Artistic presentations: These will take place from November 28 to 30, across all three venues. The event will highlight performances from both national and international artists, including the esteemed Yumiko Yoshioka.
The standard fee for the workshops is 200 pesos, which includes access to all activities for the day. Artists performing solo, in duos, or as part of a group are eligible to sign up for two workshops of their choice with a single payment. There will be an additional charge of 200 pesos for the interactive talk titled "Opportunities for Cultural, International and National Management," presented by Ireri Mugica from Barcelona.
