90’s Pop Tour Announced for Playa del Carmen Carnival 2026
Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The Playa del Carmen City Council has been gradually announcing the performers who will be in charge of the shows and concerts for the upcoming Carnival festivities, which begin in a few weeks during February, as Mayor Estefanía Mercado did with Santa Fe Klan.
Just a few days ago, the municipal leader broke the news that the Mexican rapper will be at the massive concerts, and today she does the same with other major artists who are part of the 90’s Pop Tour, which will also arrive with all its members.
When and Where Will the 90’s Pop Tour Concert Take Place?
Through her Facebook account, Mayor Estefanía Mercado shared a short video in which she informs that different artists such as OV7, Magneto, JNS, and others will perform in Playa del Carmen this February for the 2026 Carnival celebrations.
“Playa del Carmen family, in this 2026 Carnival we are going to relive an era that we all carry in our hearts. This February 17, the 90’s Pop Tour arrives, with artists who marked generations like OV7, Kabah, JNS, Magneto, Mercurio, among others. A night to sing, dance, and enjoy with family, because joy is also part of this transformation,” wrote the mayor.
Santa Fe Klan, First Confirmed Artist for Playa del Carmen Carnival 2026
Mayor Estefanía Mercado confirmed through social media the first guest artist for the Playa del Carmen Carnival 2026: rapper Santa Fe Klan, who will offer a completely free concert for the public. According to information released by the municipal government, Santa Fe Klan will perform on February 15, 2026, as part of the carnival’s artistic program.
The concert will have free admission, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy one of the most popular exponents of rap and urban music in Mexico, known for hits that have won over audiences of different generations.
Playa del Carmen Carnival 2026: Party, Culture, and Tradition
Playa del Carmen is preparing to experience a new edition of the carnival, one of the most anticipated festivities of the year, which combines music, parades, comparsas, cultural activities, and family events.
Municipal authorities announced that in the coming days more guest artists, activities, and venues will be revealed, with the goal of consolidating the carnival as a tourist and cultural attraction for the destination.
