The Maya Wellbeing Market in Nicolás Bravo, Quintana Roo, is now 90 percent complete. This market will serve as a hub for locals to promote, sell, and distribute their products.
The establishment of the Maya Wellbeing Market provides not only a dedicated space for selling local goods, but also signifies a commitment to sustainable development and reducing inequality. The market is strategically located in the Maya Train corridor and spans an area of 2648.68 square meters. It features 38 commercial spaces and 10 food stalls. The project has received over 104 million pesos in investment, as per state government data.
Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, along with representatives from the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development (Sedatu), recently conducted an oversight visit to the Maya Wellbeing Market.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the market facilities and a progress report from the resident architect, Juan Francisco Martínez Cruz. Governor Espinosa reaffirmed her commitment to sustainable development and the welfare of Quintana Roo families. She highlighted the market's crucial role in enhancing the mobility and economic growth of the region, which is located in the southern part of the state.
