Mexico City — The 2026 FIFA World Cup will bring official Fan Fests to three Mexican cities, offering fans a place to watch matches, enjoy live entertainment, and experience local culture from June 11 to July 19.
The free-entry venues in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey will operate daily, with all 104 tournament matches broadcast on giant screens. Organizers promise a family-friendly atmosphere with no alcohol sales at the Fan Fests, though alcohol will be available inside stadiums.
Entertainment and Activities
Each Fan Fest will feature a main stage with DJs, musical groups, and guest artists performing throughout the month. Local talent will showcase Mexican traditions for international visitors. An Interactive Zone will let attendees test their soccer skills in games and challenges.
A dedicated food area will serve iconic Mexican dishes. The full schedule of activities will be released in the coming weeks.
Security and Prohibited Items
To speed up entry, organizers recommend bringing only essential items in a small, clear bag. Allowed items include cell phones, keys, and wallets. Large backpacks, outside food and drinks, and alcohol are strictly prohibited. Security personnel will conduct checks at all entrances.
The no-alcohol policy applies to all Fan Fest locations, as they are in public spaces where alcohol sales are legally restricted. Only non-alcoholic beer and other soft drinks will be available.
