Yucatecan & Valladolid Cuisine: Euro Tour Success!

The Federation of Restaurateurs of Yucatán and the city of Valladolid recently concluded a successful European tour. The delegation, led by Carlos Guillermo Aguirre Aguilar, visited countries including Spain, Portugal, and Germany to promote Valladolid cuisine.

The 15-day tour was deemed productive, with several agreements and conventions being finalized with various gastronomic institutions across Europe.

While in Portugal, the delegation secured at least 10 scholarships for local students interested in pursuing culinary arts in the country. These students will be guided through the necessary processes to take advantage of this opportunity.

The tour, which also included visits to Spain, Germany, and France, was not just about promoting Yucatán flavors. It also aimed to foster academic exchanges and encourage European investments in the state. The president of the Valladolid Association of Restaurants and Gastronomic Services, along with other restaurant and tourism entrepreneurs, were part of this successful promotional tour.
