Tragic Incident: Fatal Shooting in Las Torres

Two individuals have lost their lives following an armed assault in the informal settlement known as Las Torres. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

According to official reports, local police and emergency services responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered one individual already deceased and another suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

In response to the incident, authorities quickly established a secure perimeter around the area. The injured party was immediately rushed to the General Hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of the medical team, the individual passed away shortly after arrival.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were targeted in an ambush by armed assailants. The perpetrators reportedly fled the scene in a red vehicle. The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) is currently gathering evidence and witness testimonies in an effort to shed light on the motives behind this violent incident.
