Tulum’s Little Chef Kids’ Cooking Contest Opens Soon

Tulum, Quintana Roo — The municipal government of Tulum has announced Mi Pequeño Chef, a cooking competition for children aimed at showcasing their culinary skills. The event, which will take place at the Palacio Municipal, is open to registration until May 5, 2025.

Competition Details

Participants will be required to prepare and present three dishes: an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. A panel of expert judges will evaluate the entries based on presentation, creativity, and flavor. The top three contestants will receive surprise prizes.

Eligibility and Requirements

The competition is divided into two age categories:

  • Children aged 7 to 9
  • Children aged 10 to 12

To register, participants must provide the following:

  • Full name of the child
  • Child’s CURP
  • Parent or guardian’s voter ID
  • Brief description of the dish
  • Ingredients for the competition
  • A menu listing each dish

All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

Registration and Judging

Registration opened on April 25 and will close on May 5 at 4:00 p.m. For further details, interested parties may contact the Directorate of Economic Development at 984 2122 583.

The competition will be held at the Palacio Municipal’s main square in Tulum.
