The report indicates that all tourist zones in the municipality showed increases, highlighting the all-inclusive lodging offer in Akumal, which reached an occupancy rate of 86.82%, the highest percentage of the period. This was followed by Tulum National Park with 80.08%, the Hotel Zone with 68.58%, Tulum Centro with 61.39%, and the Akumal–Chemuyil–Tankah zone with 50.74%.
State authorities stated that these indicators reflect the strengthening of the tourism sector, driven by promotion strategies, service diversification, and progress toward a sustainable and orderly tourism model, benefiting both visitors and service providers.
With these results, Tulum continues to position itself as one of the most competitive destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, prepared to welcome national and international travelers during the upcoming high season.
Sedetur reported that monitoring of tourism indicators continues to evaluate the sector’s performance and anticipate actions that allow for balanced growth in the region.
