In a recent operation, the Centurion Group apprehended three suspects, known as Luis Miguel "N", Alberto "N", and Edgardo Joel "N". Investigations suggest that these individuals are responsible for acts of violence and potential involvement in homicides in Tulum's bars and Hotel Zone.
The suspects were arrested on a dirt road in the Marites neighborhood. Upon spotting the police, the men attempted to escape into a nearby brown house. One of the suspects brandished a long gun at the officers, but the situation was rapidly defused.
During the subsequent search, a significant quantity of drugs was discovered, including marijuana, methamphetamine, and various forms of cocaine. Also found were three firearms, two short and one long, all of a military nature. In addition, over 100 cartridges of assorted calibers, two vests, cell phones, and other items were confiscated.
The suspects were taken into custody and transferred to the Prosecutor's Office Specializing in Combating Retail Drug Trafficking. Their legal status is currently being determined.
