Three Suspects Arrested for Recent Fires in Tulum

Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office announced the arrest of three suspects allegedly connected to recent fires in the Tulum municipality.

According to an official statement, specialized investigators focusing on crimes against social and property environments conducted operations that identified the probable suspects. Authorities captured them while executing arrest warrants issued by a control judge.

The investigation centered on clarifying fires that damaged property at various locations in Tulum. The incidents caused alarm among residents and prompted authorities to deploy resources to ensure security and order.

Following the arrests, officials turned the suspects over to the appropriate judicial authority, where hearings will determine their legal status according to law.

The Prosecutor’s Office stated it will continue investigations to determine responsibilities and gather necessary evidence to build case files, ensuring the incidents are properly clarified.
