Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Three men were detained in the Zazil-Ha neighborhood of Playa del Carmen for their alleged involvement in the crime of disobedience and resistance of private individuals, following an intervention carried out by elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security during preventive surveillance operations.
The detained individuals were identified as Luis Orlando N., 32 years old, originally from Playa del Carmen; Daniel Antonio N., 27 years old, originally from the state of Chiapas; and Jairo Nain N., 23 years old, also originally from Playa del Carmen.
According to information from authorities, the detention took place while agents were conducting prevention and crime deterrence patrols in that neighborhood.
During these actions, the officers detected behavior that led to the activation of corresponding protocols, proceeding in accordance with established regulations.
The three were identified as alleged perpetrators of the mentioned crime, leading to their detention.
Following the apprehension, the detainees were medically certified as part of the established procedure to verify their health status.
The authority reported that throughout the process, respect for the human rights of those involved was guaranteed, in accordance with applicable guidelines and protocols.
Subsequently, the three men were placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office, which will be responsible for compiling the corresponding investigation file and determining their legal status according to law.
