Three Cubans and a Mexican Arrested in Cancún with Drugs and Over $75,000

Evidence seized during a drug bust in Cancún, including cash and suspected narcotics

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Authorities arrested three Cuban nationals and a Mexican man in Cancún after seizing drugs and more than $75,000 in cash during a joint operation.

The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office announced the arrests, which resulted from a coordinated effort with the Mexican Army and the Benito Juárez Municipal Police. The operation targeted suspected drug trafficking and health-related crimes based on prior investigations.

During the raid, officials confiscated various substances believed to be narcotics, over $75,000 in cash, and other items potentially linked to criminal activity.

The four suspects have been handed over to the prosecutor’s office for further investigation, where their legal status will be determined.
