A motorist was savagely attacked by a group of taxi drivers outside an ecotourism park in Solidaridad. Following the incident, the Prosecutor's Office of the State of Quintana Roo apprehended Daniel “N” as a key suspect in the crime that took place on November 22nd. Prosecutor General, Raciel López Salazar, has stated that there will be zero tolerance for those who disrupt the peace, regardless of their status or affiliation.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorist was targeted on suspicion of working for a digital transport platform. The victims reported that the attackers surrounded their vehicle, threatened the driver, and forced the tourists to switch to a taxi. Daniel “N”, who was apprehended on North 50th Avenue, is believed to have been the driver of the taxi used to forcibly transfer the passengers. Authorities found illegal substances, thought to be marijuana and cocaine, in his possession, leading to additional drug trafficking charges.
