Cancún, Quintana Roo — Seven individuals were formally charged for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking offenses following operations conducted by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Drug Trafficking in the municipality of Benito Juárez.
According to official information, in an initial hearing, José Jesús N, José Alexander N, and Antony de Jesús N were charged with crimes against health. The first is accused of supplying cannabis sativa, while the other two face charges for possession with intent to supply the same narcotic.
In another case, José Manuel N and Raymundo N were also formally charged for possession with intent to supply cannabis sativa and methamphetamine.
Additionally, Rubén David N and Cecilia N were charged for possession with intent to supply marijuana. The Prosecutor’s Office noted that Cecilia N is allegedly a member of a criminal group that generates violence in the state.
The authorities reported that José Jesús N, José Alexander N, Antony de Jesús N, José Manuel N, Raymundo N, and Cecilia N will remain under justified preventive detention during the judicial process.
