Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo— The heart of the Riviera Maya is preparing for a historic event with the celebration of the First International Jumping Contest 2025 (CSI3 Playa del Carmen), to be held at the facilities of Hípica Salazar Quintana Roo, located in Puerto Aventuras.

The competition will unfold in two stages: a national phase from September 5 to 7, and an international phase from September 10 to 14, with daily sessions running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The contest will bring together more than 200 international horse-and-rider pairs, and an attendance of over 3,600 people is expected between both stages. The event will conclude on September 14 with a closing ceremony that will include a performance by equestrian and DJ Andrea, who is arriving from Rome, Italy.

Beyond the sporting spectacle, the event will feature a commercial area for local entrepreneurs and premium brands, strengthening the region’s cultural and economic ecosystem and consolidating the Riviera Maya as a world-class equestrian destination.

“This event is not just a competition, but a comprehensive project that combines sport, tourism, and social development,” emphasized Luisa Salazar, a representative of Hípica Salazar Quintana Roo, in an interview with Grupo Cantón.

The event has the backing of the Mexican Equestrian Federation (FEM), the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport (CONADE), the Government of Quintana Roo, Tren Maya, and Mexicana de Aviación.

Furthermore, the competitions will be broadcast live via ClipMyHorse.TV and FEI.TV, with the goal of reaching over 50,000 spectators around the world, projecting the Mexican Caribbean as a benchmark for luxury equestrian tourism.
