Chetumal, Quintana Roo — The Government of Quintana Roo has opened a public consultation asking residents which state procedures and services should be streamlined or made available entirely online.
The consultation, launched by the state’s Digital Transformation Agency, is part of the government’s plan to overhaul bureaucratic processes within the state administration. Residents are being invited to flag procedures they find slow, complicated, or overly bureaucratic.
Under the initiative, each state institution has prepared a simplification agenda. Residents can review these proposals and then submit feedback through an online form, identifying which government procedures and services they think need the most urgent changes.
The program’s key objectives include reducing unnecessary requirements, shortening wait times and cutting down on trips to government offices, while expanding access to fully digital procedures — particularly those that currently require in-person visits.
