Cancún, QRoo, December 4, 2025 — The Quintana Roo Tax Administration System (SATQ) announced this Thursday the official costs for the mandatory renewal of license plates and registration cards for the 2026 fiscal year.
For private vehicles, vans, and trucks, the cost will be 1,527 pesos for the pair of plates, plus 141 pesos for the registration card, totaling 1,668 pesos.
In the case of motorcycles, the amount will be 509 pesos for the plate, added to the 141 pesos for the card, resulting in a total of 650 pesos.
Trailers will pay 707 pesos for the plate and 141 pesos for the registration card, summing to 848 pesos.
The authorities reported that these prices will remain in effect throughout January 2026 and called on citizens to carry out the procedure in advance to avoid last-minute crowds.
