Javier Rojo Gomez, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Department of Agricultural, Rural and Fisheries Development (Sedarpe) led a ceremony in the community of Javier Rojo Gomez, Othon P. Blanco municipality, to honor agronomists for their work in advancing the state’s agricultural sector.

The event marked Agronomist Day, observed annually on February 22, which highlights the strategic role of agronomy in food security and rural growth.

Department head Jorge Aguilar Osorio, joined by sector representatives, emphasized that agronomists are crucial for improving crops, promoting sustainable practices, and strengthening the local economy.
