Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo — The Mario Molina Pasquel Secondary School, in coordination with the Puerto Morelos municipal government, is inviting the community to participate in its Second Charity Run, an event designed to promote physical activity and healthy family interaction.
The event will take place on the morning of Sunday, March 22, starting at 6:30 a.m. at Parque Fundadores to take advantage of the region’s cool climate. Participants will begin with a guided warm-up at 7:00 a.m., followed by the starting signal 10 minutes later.
To secure a spot, interested individuals must register by March 6, 2026. Registration is available online through a digital link or in person at the Mario Molina Pasquel Secondary School from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The fee for the general public is 300 pesos per person, which includes a kit with a commemorative T-shirt, finisher medal, competitor number, hydration, and a box lunch.
The Puerto Morelos government describes the event as “a day to get active, socialize, and join efforts for everyone’s well-being.”
The run offers various categories to accommodate all ages and fitness levels:
- 3 kilometers: boys’ and girls’ categories for youth up to age 16.
- 5 kilometers: open men’s and women’s categories.
- 3 kilometers recreational category: open to those who prefer to walk or jog non-competitively.
