SHOCKING: Playa del Carmen Couple Linked to Triple Homicide!

The State Attorney General's Office has announced that a couple, identified only as Xiomara "N" and Carlos Raúl "N", have been formally linked to a triple homicide case. They are suspected of first-degree murder against three individuals whose identities are protected.

The victims, two men and a woman, were discovered on April 8th of this year at a construction site on Tulum Street, located between July 28th Avenue and Othón P. Blanco Street in Playa del Carmen's Nueva Creación neighborhood. All victims had gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, experts recovered 9 mm caliber metal cartridges and golden bullets from the scene. Notably, when Xiomara "N" and Carlos Raúl "N" were apprehended, they were found in possession of firearms restricted for use by the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Testing confirmed these weapons matched those used in the murders.

The Attorney General's Office has compiled a case file, gathering evidence and necessary proof. This was presented at a hearing and, after evaluation by a judge, the couple was formally linked to the legal proceedings for the murders.

Additionally, a preventive detention order has been imposed on Xiomara "N" and Carlos Raúl "N". They will remain in custody for a term of two years or for the duration of the trial process.
