Nine individuals have been arrested for drug trafficking in Cozumel, Othón P. Blanco, and Benito Juárez. The arrests are part of an ongoing legal process, with evidence presented against the accused during a recent hearing in Playa del Carmen.
The suspects were apprehended during separate operations across Cozumel, Othón P. Blanco, and Benito Juárez. A significant quantity of drugs, along with various items associated with drug trafficking, were seized during these operations.
The presiding judge has decided to formally link the arrested individuals to the ongoing legal process. They will remain in preventative detention while the investigation continues. Authorities are working diligently to dismantle the drug trafficking network and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
