A multi-vehicle accident occurred on the Tulum-Playa Del Carmen highway on Tuesday afternoon, leading to significant traffic congestion. The incident involved a dump truck, a foreign combi from Tulum, and a private white car, all near the Barceló hotel.

As a result of the collision, traffic along the Riviera Maya route came to a complete halt. This situation continued for over three hours after the initial report of the accident.

Despite the severity of the crash, no fatalities or injuries were reported. However, there was significant property damage.
