Cancún, Q. Roo — A 33-year-old man identified as Omar “N” has been arrested in Cancún on allegations that he forced his wife to create sexual content for an OnlyFans account and to work as an escort. The arrest was executed by investigative agents following an arrest warrant issued by authorities in the state of Puebla.
According to the investigation, the suspect allegedly subjected the victim to physical and psychological violence beginning in 2019, which was four years after they were married. The case file indicates that the situation escalated in August 2023 when the man reportedly pressured his wife with the stated aim of "helping with expenses," coercing her into working as an escort and participating in the creation of sexual content. He allegedly published and managed this content on an OnlyFans account.
Investigations further reveal that Omar “N” controlled the account and retained all the profits it generated. The inquiries state that when the victim failed to meet the financial amounts he demanded, the aggressions would intensify.
Following intelligence work and information sharing between authorities of Puebla and Quintana Roo, the man was located in Cancún. He was subsequently detained and transferred to Puebla, where a judge is expected to rule on his legal status in the coming hours.
