Cancún, Quintana Roo — The international production “TITIZÉ – A Venetian Dream” will premiere in Cancún this spring, bringing a fusion of contemporary theater, circus arts, and high-level acrobatics to the Mexican Caribbean.
The show, directed by Swiss-Italian theater director Daniele Finzi Pasca, will run from April 23 to May 3 at Cancún’s Teatro de la Ciudad. The production represents a collaboration between Cancún’s Institute of Culture and Arts, Italy’s Teatro Stabile Veneto, and the renowned Compagnia Finzi Pasca.
A Poetic Blend of Circus, Theater and Acrobatics
Critics have described “TITIZÉ – A Venetian Dream” as a surreal and deeply poetic theatrical experience designed to transport audiences into a visual universe filled with metaphors, dreamlike imagery, and emotion. The narrative unfolds not just through words but through movement, acrobatics, and stage interaction.
Finzi Pasca, an international figure in contemporary theater who has worked on Olympic ceremonies and large-scale productions, created the show to “inspire dreams of great beauty” by combining music, dynamic set design, and physical language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers.
