Mérida, Yucatán — Local and national bands will gather in Mérida for the Furiozo Fest, a music festival that will include a skateboarding competition and a bazaar featuring Yucatecan entrepreneurs on March 28 at the Club de Leones.

More than 10 bands across various genres will perform live as part of the musical spectacle, divided into three acts. The first act starts at 2:00 p.m. with MXMXALV and closes with Los Viejos, a punk band from Mexico City. The second act begins at 6:05 p.m. with Tétrico Romance and ends with Big Spin, also from Mexico City. The third act is scheduled for 9:15 p.m., opening with the Yucatecan band Hate Ritual and closing with Cemican, a folk-metal band from Jalisco.

The goal of separating the performances into three acts is to highlight local bands such as Capitán Pachamama, Jam Gorila, and Naproxeno, among others.

Additionally, the call for entries for the skateboarding competition remains open through the Facebook page of El Deshuesadero Sk8.

Ticket sales are in their second phase, with general admission costing 175 pesos. Starting March 1, the third phase will cost 295 pesos. There are also more expensive options that include opportunities to meet the participating bands.
