Cancún, Quintana Roo — A free community arts event returns to Cancún this week, coinciding with World Art Day celebrations. The initiative aims to bring theater and entertainment directly to neighborhoods.
The event, titled “Art and Culture in Every Corner of Cancún,” will take place at the Galápagos Sports Complex in Supermanzana 521 on Wednesday, April 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It will feature the premiere of “Los Zapotes,” a new play by the Municipal Theater Company that promises to connect with audiences through everyday themes. Clown Tamborín will also perform, along with a surprise show designed to entertain all ages.
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity for families to enjoy a relaxed, joyful atmosphere close to home. “This type of activity seeks to make theater, music, and entertainment part of daily life in the neighborhoods,” they noted.
Admission is free, with no tickets required.
