Fernando Muñoz hosts festive posada for Playa del Carmen community

Fernando Muñoz celebrating Christmas with community in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Q. Roo. — In an atmosphere filled with joy, music, and Christmas spirit, Fernando Muñoz Calero, coordinator of the Green Party and councilor of Playa del Carmen, shared with families from the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood the start of the celebration of the traditional posadas.

Fernando Muñoz Calero shared a special moment with girls, boys, youth, and adults where food, dancing, a Christmas show, and surprises prepared for all attendees were not lacking. Amid smiles and hugs, the community experienced a celebration that strengthened the bonds that unite them, just as the Playa del Carmen government, led by Estefanía Mercado, has done since the beginning of its administration.

Additionally, the Green Party councilor addressed a message to those present, reminding them that Christmas is a time to value, give thanks, and celebrate all that they have built together.

“These dates remind us how important it is to be close to one another. Playa del Carmen is strong because of its people, its spirit, its unity. Today we celebrate not only Christmas but the opportunity to socialize, share, and continue building community,” he expressed.

The Green Party coordinator in Playa del Carmen surprised everyone with the grand celebration, thanked the affection and trust of the families, and highlighted that two more posadas will be held in the Villas del Sol subdivision and in Puerto Aventuras.

At the conclusion of the posada, Fernando Muñoz Calero wished all Playa del Carmen families a Merry Christmas, full of light, unity, and hope, reaffirming that when the community gathers, the holidays are experienced with greater strength and joy.
