During the inauguration of the International Tourism Fair, Mexico presented itself as one of the main protagonists, with the participation of all 32 states of the country and a diverse and competitive tourism offer.
From Aguascalientes to Zacatecas, the Mexican delegation showcased experiences that integrate nature, gastronomy, history, wellness, and sustainable tourism, consolidating the country as a tourism powerhouse before the European and global market.

Within the framework of FITUR 2026, Tulum stood out for its balance between Mayan heritage, natural environment, and an internationally recognized wellness proposal.
Air connectivity and the impact of the Maya Train strengthen its strategic positioning, facilitating access to one of the most attractive destinations in the Mexican Caribbean.
Federal authorities emphasized that Tulum represents the tourism development model that Mexico promotes: sustainable, culturally responsible, and with high value for international travelers.

Finally, the next edition of the fair will be held from January 21 to 25 in Madrid, Spain, reaffirming FITUR as one of the most important tourism meetings in the world.
