Quintana Roo Police Seize Drugs in Multiple Raids

Quintana Roo, Mexico — The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), in coordination with federal and state forces, seized alleged narcotics, motorcycles, and live ammunition during the execution of five search warrants in the municipalities of Benito Juárez, Tulum, and Othón P. Blanco. The operations also led to the arrest of two individuals for their probable involvement in drug-related crimes, specifically small-scale drug dealing.

The operations were carried out with the participation of personnel from the Defense Ministry, National Guard, Navy Secretariat, State Police, and Municipal Police.

Details of the Raids

In the first raid, conducted at a residence in the El Milagro neighborhood of Benito Juárez, agents seized four motorcycles, a gram scale, live ammunition, and green and dry vegetation with characteristics of marijuana. At the scene, Nallely Beatriz “N” was detained.

The second search took place at a property in the irregular settlement Tres Reyes, where authorities located green and dry vegetation similar to marijuana, red synthetic material, two microchips, and live ammunition.

In a third action, also in Benito Juárez, in the Paseos del Mar subdivision, agents seized green and dry vegetation with characteristics of marijuana and detained Rigoberto “N”, who was found with alleged narcotics.

The fourth raid was carried out at a residence in the irregular settlement 2 de Octubre in the municipality of Tulum, where authorities confiscated marijuana, a gram scale, and granular fragments similar to the drug known as “piedra” (crack cocaine).

Finally, in Othón P. Blanco, in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood, agents seized solid fragments similar to “piedra,” white powder with characteristics of cocaine, green and dry vegetation, brown-colored paper, and a handmade pipe.

Upon completion of the procedures, the properties were secured and placed under the custody of the FGE. Both the evidence and the detained individuals were handed over to the corresponding authorities, who will determine the legal status of Nallely Beatriz “N” and Rigoberto “N” within the legal timeframe.
