Dolphinariums Launch Summer Fun with Pool Parties & Live Music

Cancún, Mexico — Dolphinariums across the country are implementing operational changes in response to new legislation. Companies such as The Dolphin Company have already begun offering a special agenda for local residents, taking advantage of the summer season.

Weekend Activities for Locals

During weekends in July and August, Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres and Parque Garrafón will host a variety of events combining live entertainment, tropical ambiance, and aquatic fun. Each week, local visitors can enjoy different experiences, ranging from pool parties with music and activities to live musical performances for the whole family.

The schedule for Dolphin Isla Mujeres is as follows:

  • Sunday, July 20: Pool party with music and activities.
  • Sunday, July 27: Pool party with live DJ, poolside festivities, and water activities.
  • Sunday, August 3: Another pool party with music and activities.
  • Sunday, August 10: Live performance by the group Tropicalissimo.
  • Sunday, August 17: Pool party with music and activities.
  • Sunday, August 24: Pool party with live DJ, poolside festivities, and water activities.
  • Sunday, August 31: Pool party with music and activities.

Additionally, every weekend in July and August, Parque Garrafón will host pool parties with live DJs and recreational activities at its infinity pool.

Exclusive Benefits for Quintana Roo Residents

Both parks will offer a traditional Sunday buffet breakfast exclusively for Quintana Roo residents upon presentation of an official ID. Available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the buffet features Yucatecan and international dishes.

Pricing is as follows:

  • Adults: 149 pesos
  • Children (up to 12 years): 109 pesos
  • Children under 5: Free

Visitors can also purchase a Day Pass, which includes full access to the park facilities, all-day buffet, lounge chairs, and pool access. A Complete Pass offers additional activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, a temazcal (traditional sweat lodge), a diving area, beach access, and the only zipline that crosses over the Caribbean Sea.

The adjustments come as dolphinariums adapt to new regulations, ensuring continued entertainment while complying with legal requirements.
