SHOCKING: Couple Arrested for Child Abuse in Mérida

A couple has been detained in Mérida, accused of sexually abusing a minor. The alleged victim is the daughter of the female suspect. The reported abuse took place at a property owned by the woman, where she and her daughter resided in the western part of Mérida. The couple is suspected of abusing the child from the age of eight until she reached 13.

The arrests were made based on evidence gathered by the State Investigation Police (PEI) of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), and the State Attorney General's Office (FGE). Adalberto Rafael O. G., 42, and Jessica Jazmín A. L., 40, were taken into custody for alleged sexual offenses committed against the minor, who is the daughter of the female suspect.
