Conscious Expo-Festival to Be Held in Puerto Aventuras

PUERTO AVENTURAS – The first Conscious Expo-Festival will be held on July 17 and 18 in the Central Park area of Puerto Aventuras. The Vision of the Conscious Expo-Festival is to gather in one place, on a recurring basis, individuals, organizations and businesses that are doing something positive for people, for society and the environment. The organizers hope that through this event people can network, promote their work and activities and connect with other people and projects in order to grow, have a greater reach and a positive impact on the world around us.

In times of economic, health, environmental and political crises, it is obvious that the solutions must not only come from governments. This event seeks to understand the issues of today and to provide the tools, knowledge and a platform for our society to take responsibility. Above all, the Conscious Expo-Festival hopes to increase awareness of how to be part of the necessary change for good health, stronger economies and a better environment.

The event coordinators are working on talks about nutrition, physical and emotional well-being, animal welfare, ecology and much more. There will be craft workshops with an eye toward starting an occupational therapy program that generates extra income for people. Workshop subjects will also include ecology, recycling, composting and crop management.

Also offered will be guided meditation, a yoga-thon, a run/race and a pet-friendly family walk, classes and training in different physical disciplines, activities for children and even for pets. There will also be art exhibitions, chess tournaments, reading clubs and other artistic and cultural activities.

This Conscious Expo-Festival is open to the public and there is no admission fee. All necessary health and hygiene measures will be implemented and respected.
