Cancún, QRoo, December 9, 2025. The traditional representation of Christmas on the Beach, initially scheduled for December 14, has been rescheduled for next Saturday, December 21 due to forecasts of adverse weather conditions for this weekend.
Nicte Ha Sabido, coordinator of Creative Evangelization, stated that the priority is the safety of the more than 50 volunteer actors participating in the staging, as well as the public that usually gathers in the area.
Despite the date change, the event maintains its venue at Playa Delfines and its time of 4:00 PM, in order to avoid confusion among families who had already considered attending.
Organizers estimate that more than two thousand people could attend on December 21, provided weather conditions are favorable. The staging of the birth of Jesus is one of the most representative traditions of the Christmas calendar on the coast of Quintana Roo.
