Cancún's Parque Las Palapas is set to host the "Vive con Orgullo" festival on the 24th and 25th of August. The festival is a celebration of Cancún's diverse culture and community.
The event is organized by the Municipal Institute of Culture and Arts (ICA) in partnership with the Municipal Youth Institute (IMJUVE). It will span two days and feature a public festival with drag shows, live music, a wide array of food, and an entrepreneurs pavilion.
Carlos López Jiménez, the head of ICA, shared that the festival's goal is to bolster the social and cultural fabric of the city. This is achieved by promoting activities that emphasize respect and inclusion in all aspects of public life.
