A bus driver on Cancún's Route 44 has been fired by the transportation company, Autocar, following accusations of reckless driving and rude behavior towards passengers. The driver's dismissal came after several social media posts reported his inappropriate actions, including offensive gestures towards local residents who called out his poor conduct.

The driver was in charge of bus number 409 on Route 44. Autocar confirmed that they have taken action in response to the complaints. The social media posts warned residents to be cautious around the driver, stating, "Alert for overbearing driver on Route 44, the driver has bus 409. If you see him, be careful as they're driving recklessly and being overbearing."

Residents of the Benito Juárez municipality have been advocating for high-quality public transportation. They demand that bus drivers adhere to speed limits, follow general traffic regulations, and treat passengers with respect.

Autocar reported that the driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test following the complaints, which he passed. However, due to his unacceptable behavior, the decision was made to terminate his employment. The driver of bus number 409 on Route 44 in Cancún is no longer in service.
