Cancún Activates ‘Code Red’ After Suspected Arsonists Torch Three Vehicles

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Authorities activated a “Code Red” emergency protocol in Cancún after suspected criminals intentionally set three vehicles on fire along Andrés Quintana Roo Avenue, sparking alarm among residents and motorists. Police have detained one suspect in connection with the attacks.

The major mobilization began after a 911 emergency call reported three vehicles engulfed in flames in what appeared to be a deliberate act. Witnesses said the perpetrators set the vehicles on fire before fleeing the area, prompting an immediate activation of security protocols.
