PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico — A violent brawl occurred on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Pintores Avenue and 15th Avenue in Playa del Carmen, leaving one person dead and two others injured.
According to initial reports, the body of a victim, who is alleged to have been burned to death, was found inside a property. Two other individuals were injured during the confrontation and were transported to a hospital to receive medical attention.
The Secretary of Public Security deployed a major operation in the area, including support from an official helicopter that flew over the zone in search of those responsible for the violent incident. The location remains cordoned off while the corresponding procedures and investigations are carried out.
