Bahía Príncipe Grand Tequila resort in Riviera Maya

Cancún, December 2 (InZoom.Mx). – Bahía Príncipe Hotels & Resorts held the official inauguration of Bahía Príncipe Grand Tequila, a five-star, all-inclusive, adults-only resort designed to immerse guests in the music, colors, flavors, and energy of Mexico.

The new complex is part of the Bahía Príncipe Riviera Maya development.

The opening coincides with two key anniversaries for Grupo Piñero: its 50 years as a corporation and the 30 years of the Bahía Príncipe Hotels & Resorts brand. The launch also marks a step forward in the expansion driven by the alliance with Hyatt, which has allowed the company to broaden its international presence without losing its focus on authenticity and sustainability.

Collaborators, tourism authorities, special guests, and local media participated in the inaugural event, which included a ribbon-cutting accompanied by a contemporary ritual inspired by elements of Mexican culture.

Arantxa Munuera Torralba, general director of Bahía Príncipe Riviera Maya Resort, highlighted that the new hotel “is experienced through emotion” and seeks to connect guests with the cultural essence of the country.

Representing the state government, Pablo Casas Gómez, undersecretary of Promotion for the Quintana Roo Tourism Secretariat, led the ribbon-cutting and emphasized the boost that this type of project provides to the economic and tourism growth of the region.

Grand Tequila

Grand Tequila takes as a reference the way Mexico expresses its identity: joy, intensity, and celebration. The resort’s design, its musical spaces, and its gastronomic proposals are oriented toward provoking emotions and generating memorable moments.

One of its emblematic spaces is the “Casita de los despechados,” conceived as a meeting point to sing, remember, and celebrate personal stories. The hotel will also integrate a program of themed parties that will be shaped as its distinctive hallmark, with proposals such as Zenith, KitshMex, and Abyss, each inspired by different creative expressions of the country.

Nicolás Rojas, manager of Bahía Príncipe Grand Tequila, noted that the opening is the result of the work and identity that drives the team, with the goal of offering deeply Mexican experiences.

The hotel has 360 Junior Suite Superior rooms, four restaurants, which include an international buffet, a Mexican snack bar, a smokehouse grill, and Nikkei cuisine, in addition to three bars and social terraces. It also incorporates pools with a swim-up bar, spa, gym, and access to the PGA Riviera Maya golf course.
