Cancún, Quintana Roo — Aguakan will hold the third edition of its Kids Water Race 2025 in Cancún and Playa del Carmen, reinforcing its commitment to water conservation and promoting healthy habits among children. The event aims to strengthen environmental education while offering families a fun and engaging experience.
Race Details and Locations
The Kids Water Race 2025 will take place on two separate dates at different venues. On Saturday, April 26, the event will be held at the Unidad Deportiva Colosio in Playa del Carmen. A week later, on Saturday, May 3, the race will move to Cancún’s Estadio Toro Valenzuela.
Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are invited to participate in various categories, with race distances tailored to each age group. The first 200 attendees and winners of each category will receive special prizes and recognition, encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendly competition.
Activities and Environmental Focus
Beyond the race, the event will feature recreational and educational activities centered on water conservation. Organizers aim to instill the importance of preserving this vital resource from an early age through interactive learning experiences.
Aguakan has extended an open invitation to families in Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres to join the initiative. The company emphasized its dedication to community well-being and sustainable water management.
