Solidaridad Unveils Elite Unit to Combat Extortion

Lili Campos, the Municipal President of Solidaridad, recently unveiled a new specialized police unit dedicated to combating extortion. The Specialized Group for Combating Extortion (GEPCE) is part of Solidaridad's strategy to improve security and promote peace. The group will work closely with local businesses and the public to prevent and fight extortion.

The GEPCE is comprised of highly trained police officers, lawyers, and psychologists. These professionals are not only equipped to deal with the legal aspects of extortion but also to provide emotional support to its victims. The officers have undergone rigorous training and professionalization, specializing in Intelligence Analysis, Operational Fusion, and Prevention.

At the unit's launch event, the officers were presented with uniforms and seven vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This will enable them to respond effectively to extortion-related crimes.

The event was attended by authorities from all levels of government, reaffirming their commitment to security in Solidaridad. The establishment of the GEPCE is a significant step in Solidaridad's ongoing efforts to safeguard its citizens and businesses from extortion.
