Playa del Carmen — The Marian Encounter has been announced to return to Playa del Carmen after a five-year pause, with organizers highlighting that this edition will be a special moment for the community of faith. The event will take place on November 30 at the Poliforum, beginning at 9:50 in the morning with the enthronement of an image of the Virgin Mary.

Activities to Focus on Spiritual Values

Father Hubert Reiner emphasized that one of the central objectives is to strengthen the experience of faith within the family, addressing the concern of parents and grandparents about how to transmit spiritual values to new generations. For him, the day represents an opportunity to unite families in the search for a shared path of faith and hope.

"A new start for the Marian Encounter here in Playa del Carmen, after five years of pause, we are bringing it back. We have the Poliforum on Avenida Juárez with 115 as the location, which they lent for this event. We begin on Sunday, November 30 at 9:50, with the enthronement of the Virgin Mary who enters the venue, with applause and the warm welcome from the faithful of Playa del Carmen," said Father Reiner.

Monsignor Pedro Pablo Elizondo to Participate

He added that, within the program, one of the most anticipated moments will be the participation of Monsignor Pedro Pablo Elizondo, who is one of the seven speakers and will also preside over the 7:00 p.m. mass.
