Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport has been recognized as one of the world's 25 best international airports in the International Top 25 Approved Award 2025 list, a distinction that places this new Quintana Roo air terminal on the global aviation stage.
The certificate, issued by InternationalTop25.com, included Tulum alongside prestigious airports such as Changi (Singapore), Hamad (Doha), Dubai, Istanbul, and Paris Charles de Gaulle, which are considered global benchmarks for connectivity and services.
It is noteworthy that, despite being a recently established terminal, Tulum managed to enter this list, which also features high-traffic airports in the United States such as Orlando, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and La Guardia, as well as others in Latin America like El Dorado in Bogotá and Los Cabos in Baja California Sur.
With this distinction, Tulum not only gains presence in the global airline industry but also reinforces the positioning of Quintana Roo as a leader in tourist connectivity in Mexico and Latin America.
