Elements of the Benito Juárez Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Transit (SMSCyT) arrested José Juan “N”, 40, after he allegedly shot the victim in the Supermanzana 67 area during a preventative patrol.

The incident was recorded when officers heard firearm detonations and received reports via the 9-1-1 emergency line about shots fired in the zone. Upon arriving at the location, they observed a man fleeing and a woman calling for help. The victim directly identified José Juan “N” as the individual responsible for the attempted robbery and the gunshot that caused an injury to her arm.
Immediate Attention and Transfer to Authorities
The police officers prioritized attention for the injured woman and requested the presence of a medical unit, which transported her to receive hospital care.
