Tulum, Mexico — The coastal paradise of Tulum has been selected as the host city for the prestigious World Travel Market Latin America (WTM Latin America) 2025, a major international tourism trade fair expected to draw thousands of industry professionals from across the globe. The announcement, confirmed by local authorities and event organizers, positions Tulum as a key player in the region’s travel and hospitality sector.

A Boost for Tourism and Business

Scheduled for April 2025, the event will bring together travel agencies, hotel chains, airlines, and tourism boards to showcase destinations, negotiate deals, and discuss trends shaping the industry. WTM Latin America is renowned for fostering business opportunities, and its selection of Tulum underscores the city’s growing prominence as a world-class destination.

Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo emphasized the economic impact, stating, "Hosting WTM Latin America 2025 is a historic milestone for Tulum. This event will not only highlight our natural beauty and cultural richness but also generate significant revenue for local businesses and create jobs."

Infrastructure and Sustainability in Focus

With an anticipated attendance of over 10,000 visitors, including exhibitors and buyers from more than 50 countries, Tulum is ramping up infrastructure improvements to accommodate the influx.
