Quintana Roo — The state government has launched a new digital platform designed to modernize and streamline administrative processes for agricultural and fishing producers.
The Sistema Único Agropecuario y Pesquero de Quintana Roo (SUAPQROO) will allow producers to complete registrations and access government programs online, eliminating the need for in-person visits to government offices.
The platform is part of an administrative transformation initiative led by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa and implemented by the Secretaría de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Rural y Pesca (SEDARPE).
How to Register
Producers can register through the official portal at http://suap.qroo.gob.mx. Requirements include a PDF copy of their CURP (Unique Population Registry Code) and an active email address.
The registration process is entirely digital and can be completed from any internet-connected device.
Key Benefits
The system offers several advantages:
- Creation of an official producer account
- Registration of agricultural and fishing economic activities
- Secure upload of personal and legal documents
- Assignment of an official registration number
- Transparent access to government programs and support
Statewide Registry
SEDARPE Secretary Jorge Aguilar Osorio called on all state producers to register in the unified system, which aims to consolidate information from over 15,000 producers including more than 8,000 farmers, approximately 2,000 livestock producers, and about 2,500 fishers.
The digital registry replaces more than 14 years of physical files with a modern, auditable system that officials say will improve planning, generate reliable statistics, and ensure support reaches those who need it most.
