José María Morelos, Quintana Roo — A road accident near the community of La Candelaria has ended a holiday period without serious incidents in this municipality.
Preliminary reports indicate a vehicle left the road under circumstances that remain unclear. The incident resulted in injuries to a 51-year-old man, who sustained head injuries and other wounds.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene, providing initial medical assistance before transporting the injured man to an IMSS-Bienestar hospital in the municipal seat for further treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
