Cancún, Mexico — The most emblematic songs from films and Broadway musicals will come to life in an evening of elegance and emotion this Saturday, October 25, at 8:00 p.m. at the Xbalamqué Cultural Center. The show, titled "From East to West: A Journey from Broadway to Hollywood," is under the direction of Noé Garrido and the general production of Oscar López.
This intimate evening will bring together four distinguished voices from the lyrical and theatrical spheres: Christian Pappas, Fernanda Martínez, Yahzelyh Martínez, and Reynaldo Márquez. They will perform a repertoire spanning seven decades of music, journeying from classics such as "Man of La Mancha" and "The Phantom of the Opera" to contemporary pieces from animated films like "Anastasia," among other audience favorites.
With two sopranos, a tenor, and a baritone on stage, the audience will enjoy a unique sonic and visual experience, where each interpretation will transport attendees to the grand stages of musical theater and cinema.
"This is the first time a proposal of this kind has been presented in Cancún, one that seeks to become a spearhead for future spectacles dedicated to celebrating the majesty of the musical genre," said Noé Garrido, the director and driving force behind this production.
A glass of wine and an enveloping atmosphere will accompany this gala, which promises to captivate lovers of music, theater, and the emotion of great stories told through the voice.
