New York, United States — A contingent of 167 cadets and three officers has flown to New York to rejoin the Mexican Navy's training vessel, the Buque Escuela Cuauhtémoc. The personnel are set to resume their instructional cruise, which was interrupted following an accident that occurred on May 17.

The return of the cadets marks a significant step in reactivating the vessel's operations after it spent over four months undergoing repairs. The ship is now prepared to begin its journey back to Mexico.

The vessel's crew for the return voyage will consist of six captains, 37 officers, 166 cadets, and 66 class elements and sailors. They will sail under the motto of "carrying the heart of Mexico to the world."
