Cancún, Mexico — The 204th Anniversary of the Consummation of Independence will be celebrated in Cancún this weekend with a public event to which all Cancún residents are invited to enjoy the scheduled activities.
The commemoration will take place over a single day, for which the schedule, location, and activities with their respective times have been announced.
Civic Ceremony and Schedule
The Independence commemoration in Cancún will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, at the Plaza de la Reforma, located in the city center, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Activities and Schedule
- 6:00 p.m.: Civic Ceremony
- 6:30 p.m.: Opening of the "Danzón and Bohemia Festival" by the Municipal Orchestra
- 8:15 p.m.: Performance by the quartet "Los Príncipes"
- 9:30 p.m.: Closing of the Festival
